The Chorus will present "All You Need is Love" on April 21 in Wilmington, and on May 5 in Durham. • The Chorus presented a Cabaret on November 12 in Chapel Hill.
It's amazing that so much can be achieved by performers and audience alike through the act of making music. The Chorus makes a joyful, progressive, and sometimes rowdy noise annually with two major concerts, a Festival for the Eno (River) performance, and a NC Gay Pride Festival performance. The Chorus performs biannually at international events sponsored by Gala Choruses and the Sister Singers Network. We welcome other performance inquiries.
Triangle-area composer Jamie Anderson writes about a family of friends whose support and presence inspire hope and bring sustenance to their community. The Chorus cultivates such a community and extends membership to any woman who can maintain pitch and commit to our regular rehearsal schedule. We won't single you out for audition, but we will welcome you into a loving community that makes music in a manner that inspires joy and connection long after rehearsals end. Please join us.
